What is microcement?
Microcement is a seamless, cement-based decorative finish that offers a modern alternative to tiles. Applied by hand using a trowel, it creates continuous surfaces with no grout lines or joins.
Strong, waterproof, and highly versatile, microcement can be applied over a wide range of existing substrates—including tiles, plasterboard, marble, terrazzo, and worktops—with a finished thickness of just 3–4mm.
This makes it ideal for floors, walls, bathrooms, wet rooms, stairs, furniture, and exterior surfaces.
What is polished plaster?
Polished plaster is a refined interior finish created through a skilled application process rather than a single material. Using specialist products and controlled polishing, it produces surfaces with depth, movement, and a naturally smooth or high-sheen appearance.
It is commonly used on walls, ceilings, and feature elements where precision and surface quality are essential, allowing for bespoke finishes that range from understated texture to a high-gloss, almost reflective result.
